"Army Liq Shop" will no longer be operated

We at RUAG will discontinue the "Army Liq Shop" we operate at the end of 2025. We are therefore withdrawing from the sale/disposal of military equipment and vehicles. The reason for this decision is to focus more strongly on our core business.

On behalf of the Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS), RUAG sells and liquidates military equipment and vehicles no longer required by the Swiss Armed Forces. In order to focus on our strategic direction and strengthen fundamental core competencies, we have decided to withdraw from this business area, probably at the end of 2025.

This withdrawal will have no impact on our customers and partners. We at RUAG will ensure a smooth transition. A working group with all persons involved will draw up a detailed plan of action to hand over the activities to new responsibilities. The RUAG employees involved will be offered internal employment.

« The decision was not an easy one. However, comprehensive analyses and strategic considerations have shown that this step is necessary in order to further develop our company in a future-oriented manner. Until the definitive withdrawal, we at RUAG will always fulfill our contractual obligations with the necessary competence and care. »
