Viola Ferrari

"I started as an intern in the System Engineering Jet Team in Emmen in 2019. I was able to collaborate on exciting projects working on the F/A-18 and F-5 jets and accumulated valuable experience. The positive collaboration within the team motivated me to write my Master’s thesis in cooperation with RUAG as an industrial partner. After graduating, I returned to the team in 2022 and took on a role as system engineer for mechanical subsystems and engines in the F/A-18. My main duties include guaranteeing system security, technical management in change projects and the role of point of contact for customer queries regarding the systems."

Thomas Huggler

"23 years – that’s how long I have been able to count myself part of the RUAG family, and this is something I’m very proud of. After seven years as a maintenance technician and two years as a system engineer, in 2009 I had the opportunity to relocate to a location that is unknown to many RUAG employees, but one that is very exciting: the Zweilütschinen combined underground facility – the “home of fuel systems”. For 15 years, I have managed this workshop as team leader. Together with a small but competent team, we contribute to ensuring that if the pilots need more thrust, they get it. This only functions through effective collaboration with many other teams, across various organizations and locations."

Kim Koster

"Exactly ten years ago, I started at RUAG as a system engineer for the TPE331 turboprop engine in Stans, making my way through many different engine-related posts, before finally landing in the Chief and Liaison Engineering Office (CLEO) in Emmen. As a liaison engineer, I make sure that the processes for various systems are harmonized and standardized. For me, engaging in discussion with the project teams is the most exciting part of the job. For it is only through effective cooperation that pragmatic solutions are developed."

Nyrina Gold

"For more than three years, I have been employed within the RUAG IT department, currently working as assistant to our CIO. My position allows me to get involved in various different areas of our IT department and our company. In the past year I have also taken on new tasks as a service manager. Working in close collaboration with our colleagues, I am able to develop tailored solutions. The work is incredibly varied and brings me a great deal of pleasure. Working together with my fantastic team makes overcoming the challenges faced even more fun. Get in touch with me if you have any further questions regarding BATI."

Felix Graf

"I have been employed at RUAG since August 2021. Whether it’s planning campaigns, designing event formats and trade fair appearances, developing promo videos, providing support for speeches and presentations or trademark protection – my duties are diverse and exciting. I particularly value the chance to indulge my performance orientation, both professionally and privately. As a passionate amateur triathlete, challenges really motivate me – perseverance, determination and a willingness to overcome obstacles and go the extra mile are all really important qualities for me."

Sinaida Aregger

"Since August 2024, I have been working in Thun as an incoming goods and quality controller. By inspecting materials and certificates, I ensure that our high quality standards are adhered to. In this regard, the precise checking of processes is particularly important for me. The thing I value most is the friendly and light-hearted collaboration with my team, which really enriches my everyday working life."
