The new organizational structure will enable RUAG to effectively implement its corporate strategy. To this end, processes are being simplified, systems harmonized, clearer structures created and transparent and open communication within the company promoted.
The adjustment of the organizational structures is also accompanied by an adjustment in the management. The heads of the Corporate Services, C5I and RUAG Real Estate divisions are now taking up seats on the management board, thus completing the company's management.
In order to remain competitive in the market, the business is also being given more operational responsibility. Areas of sales and supply chain are therefore assigned to the corresponding business areas.
In addition, the new Corporate Services unit has been created. Corporate Services includes the cross-company units and has the goal of supporting both the strategic development of RUAG and the individual business areas. Corporate Services includes the Legal, Compliance, Corporate Security, Communication & Public Affairs, Corporate Development, Programs and Corporate Projects & Coordination units.
The new organizational structure will result in personnel changes. A consultation process with the company's internal employee representatives is still ongoing. After completion of this process, the new structures are to be operational from April 1.
