In September, the central Swiss vocational championships "SwissSkills" took place in Bern. Five RUAG talents won a medal. Brigitte took the opportunity to meet the apprentices, exchange ideas with them and congratulate them personally.
"It pleases me and fills me with pride that we are able to train so many talented young people at RUAG. In times of a shortage of skilled workers, it is vital that we encourage and challenge apprentices to develop them into competent professionals," says Brigitte.
Just under ten percent of RUAG's workforce in Switzerland are apprentices who are learning their trade and thus laying the foundations for a promising career. RUAG has been committed to promoting young talent for years, giving young people the chance of a successful start to their careers.
