Key points of your apprenticeship at RUAG
Specialist in operational maintenance EFZ [Swiss certificate of competence]
Specialists in operational maintenance take care of a wide range of tasks. Depending on their chosen focus, they are employed in housekeeping - i.e. mostly indoors - or in plant services - mostly outdoors. Both areas include cleaning of buildings and outdoor facilities, garden maintenance and waste management. As you can see, this profession is ideal for those with all-round talent.
Maintenance specialists monitor and maintain technical installations in the building. They also handle a variety of minor repairs such as dripping faucets or furniture.
Specialists in operational maintenance in the works service are in turn responsible for structural maintenance. They repair damage to buildings and outdoor facilities and thus contribute not only to maintaining value, but also to operational safety. Working at RUAG is therefore extremely diverse.
