At the site of the former Swiss ammunition factory in Altdorf, we have been processing ammunition, ammunition components and explosives for almost 30 years. The team of specialists and experts professionally disassembles and then disposes of the supplied material in an expert and environmentally friendly manner. This special waste not only comes from the Armed Forces but also from private inventories.
Through the professional separation of individual components, many of the raw materials are fed back into the recycling cycle. Explosives are disposed of in special incinerators in an environmentally friendly manner. Working with such hazardous materials requires sure instincts and an extremely high level of concentration, especially because the components to be disposed of need to be disassembled manually in some cases.
Aside from the Swiss Armed Forces as a main customer, we have also been working with the cantonal police of Urn and other police forces from all over Switzerland for many years.
Durch die professionelle Trennung der einzelnen Komponenten wird ein grosser Teil der Rohstoffe in den Recyclingkreislauf zurückgeführt. Explosivstoffe werden ihrerseits in speziellen Verbrennungsanlagen umweltschonend entsorgt. Die Arbeit mit solchen Gefahrenstoffen erfordert Fingerspitzengefühl und höchste Konzentration, zumal die zu entsorgenden Komponenten teilweise manuell zerlegt werden müssen.
Neben der Schweizer Armee als Hauptkundin arbeiten wir seit vielen Jahren auch mit der Urner Kantonspolizei und weiteren Polizeikorps aus der ganzen Schweiz zusammen.
